Cosmetic Competition
The IIIrd all-Polish Competition in Cosmetic Knowledge took place on April 22-23 in Łódź at the CNiB “Żak”. It was directed to students of cosmetic schools of CNiB “Żak”. More than 60 persons from the whole Poland took part in this Competition.

Competition consisted of two stages: the first one – verification of the theoretical knowledge and the second one – verification of practical knowledge. 10 participants who obtained the highest number of points were qualified for the second stage.
During the second stage, participants had to do the day make up, perform the care treatment and diagnose the skin of face. All these tasks were evaluated by the competition committee consisted of experts in the field of cosmetology and representatives of famous cosmetic companies. When evaluating the competitors’ work an aesthetics and correctness of its realization, the adequate application of preparations and competency of competitors were taken under consideration.
THE LAUREATES OF COMPETITION ARE:
• I PLACE - Krystyna Urbańska - Nowy Sącz, 45 points
• II PLACE - Anna Kirsz - Częstochowa, 43 points
• III PLACE - Anna Omyła - Łódź, 42 points
The all laureates of competition received cosmetic sets of following companies: Laboratorium, Kolastyna, Dermika, Naan, Ziaja. 10 participants, who achieved the second stage, received subscription of Les Nouvelles Esthetiques and cosmetic sets of following companies; Bielenda, Laboratorium Kosmetyczne Norel, Naan, May Star, Ziaja and Jadwiga. Laureates of the first three places received additionally: invitations to cosmetic competition, cosmetic sets of companies Inglot, Bikor and Bandi, book awards founded by CNiB “Żak” and multimedia programme “Prestige” for beauty parlours, hair dressers, image creators and stylists founded by “Make Up” magazine. The laureate of the first place received also a handbook for study of profession founded by the CNiB “Żak”. The competition was accompanied by shows of the famous cosmetic companies, multimedia presentations of both the School of make up “Kreator” and Międzynarodowa Akademia Makijażu “Laurel”.
